Sovereign Radiology’s Radiologists are supported by a dedicated team of technologists, nurses, clerical and administrative staff. Our team leaders are responsible for ensuring that a high level of service and technical excellence are maintained at all times.
Randhir was the first Sonographer to join Sovereign Radiology and was instrumental in the initial set up of the Ultrasound department. He has experience in both the public and private sectors as a Radiographer and Sonographer spanning the last 29 years.
Randhir has a passion for education and MSK ultrasound, presenting locally and at the ASA National Conference. He has also co-published in the ASA’s peer reviewed Ultrasound journal. Randhir also presents at local education sessions for Sonographers, Medical and Allied Health Practitioners.
Randhir’s role includes ensuring Sovereign Radiology’s ultrasound department is up to date with the latest scan techniques and medical literature, to help provide the best possible diagnosis and outcome for ultrasound patients.
Having worked in South Africa, New Zealand, the Middle East and Australia has given him a significant appreciation of the cultural differences and an appreciation of the different health models.
Andrew grew up in Ballarat and has worked as a Radiographer for the last 12 years in a private hospital setting, here in his home town. He joined the Sovereign Radiology team in June 2021.
Andrew has specialised in MRI for the last five years and has an interest in cardiac imaging.
Andrew’s role as Chief Radiographer is to ensure the department continues its patient centred care approach and staff follow best practice in imaging and radiation safety.
He enjoys playing guitar on the weekend to a small audience of his wife Anna, their son Louis and Boston Terrier, Tito.
Referrer Support Manager
Mandy joined the team in late 2016, assuming the role of Referrer Support Manager, a role which sees her engaging with our referrers on a daily basis.
Mandy has many years of experience working in the Education and Pharmaceutical/Healthcare industries. She is passionate about ensuring the service we deliver referrers is unique and of the highest quality at all times.
In addition to providing day to day assistance to our referrers, Mandy also co-ordinates our education sessions. These sessions connect local Medical and Allied Health practitioners with our team of Specialists, to discuss some of the latest advances in imaging techniques and technology.
Sarah-Jayne is a Ballarat local who has worked in administrative roles in the health setting for the past 14 years. After spending many years working in clinics in Melbourne, Sarah-Jayne joined our team in mid 2018.
She has a strong interest in ensuring that every patient and referring Healthcare Professional has a positive experience when dealing with Sovereign Radiology – from booking an appointment and attending the procedure, through to report delivery.
