Dr Sampath Gorokgahagoda graduated in Medicine from the University of Ruhuna, Sri Lanka before completing his radiology specialty training at the University of Colombo, Sri Lanka in 2004.
Sampath subsequently completed a Radiology fellowship at the John Hunter Hospital and Calvary Mater Newcastle Hospital, between 2006 – 2008 before returning to Sri Lanka where he worked for 15 years as a Consultant Radiologist at the District General Hospital, Nawalapitiya, SBSCH Paediatric Teaching Hospital, and National Hospital Kandy, Sri Lanka respectively.
Dr Gorokgahagoda joined the Keystone Radiology team in 2022, and his special interests include Interventional Radiology, with particular emphasis in liver interventions.
